So, I'm 33 now...yippee! I had a great birthday weekend. Mom, Cole, Corey, and Libby came down for a visit. I asked Cole to teach Libby to say "Happy Birthday, Casey" for my present. Apparently she said it a few times before I arrived for my birthday dinner at Kerri's. When I got there she would only say "Happy!" It was cute and later on that weekend I got to hear her say the entire phrase. I love children's voices at that age. Libby jibber jabbers a lot. If she spots a phone laying around, she'll pick it up and start her jibber jabber like she's carrying on a full blown conversation. Then, she'll start laughing like she just heard something very amusing, put the phone down, and say "bye!" Way cute! I know we are always saying Libby loves Claire, but my gosh...Libby REALLY loves Claire. She really didn't want to have anything to do with anyone else if Claire was in sight. Sami already feels the same way about her. When I pick Claire up from school, Sami usually starts crying as soon as I stop the car in front of the school. Then, Claire gets in the car, Sami is happy as can be. One of Claire's teachers is so fascinated by this that she peaks her head in the car everyday just to get a view of this sisterly love. I wish Claire could go with me tomorrow to Sami's doctor appointment...shots again! Sami will be six months old on Saturday, so it is that time again. I Hate It! This is just a tough week for Sami. I left her for the first time yesterday for a full 8 hours. No coming home and then going back out...a FULL 8 hours. I had a meeting to go to in Clarksburg, so Tommy stayed home with her. He sent me pictures all day of everything they did, so that made feel a little better. When I got home, I fed her and fell asleep by 7pm and didn't wake up until 5am. 10 hours! Of course I didn't go to bed until midnight because I kept thinking she would get up again. So, I didn't get the 10 hours of sleep, but I think I'm on my way to some sleep. Well, maybe not...the teeth are coming! Which leads me to the pics...

This is how Sami looks most of the time...hand in mouth. If her hand isn't there, mine is. Ain't she perdy darn cute? Can't help it...

I took the girls to see Ronald McDonald tonight at Uncle Will's store. This was Sami's first Ronald experience, and Claire's zillionth. Claire always loves to see him though. She has become quite close friends with Ronald and his assistant. Sami's favorite chew toys is a little stuffed Ronald which she acquired 2 more of this evening.
Doesn't it look like I am photo shopping Sami into all of these pictures...hand in mouth!
Family pic! There's that hand again.
Amanda's Evanater came over the other day. He was hanging out with Sami on her play mat. He's looking at her eyes because he really wants to poke them. He is very curious about Sami's eyes. Amanda was standing guard. Evan was really good with her, and Sami loved having someone to hang out with on her mat...and they became fast friends! HeHe

Libby's first oreo cookie...hmm...wonder who gave her that!
So, I had a great birthday. Kerri, thank you for hosting a fabulous dinner! I don't know why I'm thanking her here because she never looks at this blog. Kerri is a dork, Kerri is a dork! Mom, thanks for buying the dinner, and taking me shopping, and helping me with Sami, and cleaning my kitchen, and staying with Claire, and making me a cake...oops...that's right...I didn't get a carrot cake. Grandma Mae made a wonderful German chocolate cake, so you're off the hook. Just make me one for Kerri's birthday and tell her you thought that was her favorite. Kerri is a dork, Kerri is a dork! I had a great day and was sad when I woke up Saturday morning and my birthday was over, but Cole informed me that it was my birthday "weekend." Thanks, Cole for letting me have more than one day. And thanks to all of you who responded to my birthday reminder email. :) Jan, I loved the eCard! Jan actually reads my blog. Kerri is a dork, Kerri is a dork! Rob will appreciate that. I am writing so much because I am testing to see who really reads my blog...
